What does HIIT mean you might ask? HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training
• the goal of HIIT is to increase your heart rate to about 80% maximum capacity
• HIIT is considered a "fat burning" cardio workout because some studies have shown that intense HIIT kicks your body into hyperdrive. Essentially resulting in you burning more fat and calories AFTER a HIIT workout compared to a steady run
• HIIT is amazing for your cardiovascular heath, and can improve your VO2 max (measurement of endurance that calculates the maximum volume of oxygen the body can use)
